92-year-old Edna L. Reed, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Knox, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Edna was born January 22, 1926 in Robinson, IL to Pearl and Elvina (Chastain) Matheney. She is survived by her children, Lillian Harris, Eilene Hopkins, Wanda Reed, and Phillip Reed, siblings, Paul Wayne Matheney, and Lou Ellen Rich, grandchildren, Margene Jennings, Sharon Mullins, Shirley Cain, Theresa Rose, Dana Cheshire, Christopher Reed, Herman Hopkins Jr., Melissa Hopkins, and Allison Reed, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her both of her parents, children, Barbara Jean Brown, and Wendell Reed, siblings, brothers, Lawrence Matheney, Bobby Matheney, James Matheney, Donald Matheney, Eldridge (Bud) Matheney, Jack Matheney, Glenn (Red) Matheney, Pearl Matheney, Jr., and Burmay Prather, sisters, Gertrude McCarty, Edith Morrison, Louie Lowrance, Lois Goff, Mavis Grieves, Velda Smith, Anna Margaret Prather, and Inez Marie Prather. Graveside services will be Friday, April 6, 2018 at 1:00pm, at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox, Indiana.
