Florence Anna Nitcher, 91-years-old of Ober, Indiana, died Thursday, January 4, 2018 in Knox, Indiana. She was born Friday, June 11, 1926 in Culver, Indiana, Daughter of the late Orval Humes and the late Elsie(Palm) Humes.
Florence enjoyed yard sales and cooking. Florence greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren. On January 5, 1947 in Knox, Indiana she married George Nitcher, he preceded her on June 18, 2007.
Surviving are Son, Gary(Sharon Williams) Nitcher of LaPorte, Indiana, Son Jerry(Betty Patrick) of Ober, Indiana, Daughter, Sharon(Chet) Fletcher of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Robin(Pedro) Baca of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, George Ann(Virgil) Noble of Knox, Indiana, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren 5 great-great-grandchildren, Sister, Bonnie(Bob) Chambers of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Darlene Combs of Ober, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Nitcher, parents Orval and Elsie Humes, brother Jerry Nitcher and grandson Kyle Fletcher.
Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service, Monday, January 8, 2018 at the at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.
Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1 PM with Rev. Virgil Noble officiating.
Interment will follow in the Culver Masonic Cemetery.
