Lois M. Haddix, age 86, of Knox, passed away at home on Friday, July 13, 2018. Lois was born July 26, 1931 in Quicksand, Kentucky to Ira Noble and Lizzie Fugate Noble, both deceased. On April 17, 1950 in Benton Harbor, Michigan she married Johnie Haddix. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1999.
She and her husband had owned and operated the Haddix Antique Store in Knox for many years. She is survived by her son, Donnie Haddix (Cathy) of Peachtree, Georgia, a grandson, Eric Haddix, and two brothers, Luther and Hershel Haddix. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carrie Brown and Sally Hamilton, and two brothers Harold and Edward Noble.
A funeral service will take place Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:00am (CT), with visitation one hour prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
