Melvin D. Kersting, fondly called Mel, joined his beloved brother, Chuck, in heaven on January 22, 2026, in Peru, IN.
He was born to Charles and Alma (Kirsch) Kersting on September 12, 1932, in South Bend, Indiana.
Services will be held at O’Donnell Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. CT and the funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Highland Cemetery in North Judson.
