Owen Stacy, 87 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away, surround by his loving family, Friday, July 14, 2023 in Knox, Indiana.He was born Sunday, October 13, 1935 in Hazard, Kentucky, Son of the late Clarence Stacy and the late Betty(Campbell) Stacy.
December 10, 1958 in Knox, Indiana, Owen married the love of his life Lorraine Puckett, she preceded him on June 10, 2009.
Owen was Kentucky Wildcats Basketball’s number one fan and a member of the Little Dove Baptist Church. Owen enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars with his friends. Owen enjoyed traveling back to Hazard, Kentucky to see family and friends. He also enjoyed going to the casino and eating at the buffett. Owen’s greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He worked as a welder for Ford Motor Co. .
Surviving are Daughter, Janice(Chuck) Estok of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Tammy(Tim) Rowe of Sellersburg, Indiana, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, Sister, Ada Mae(Boyd) Puckett of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Betty Lou Russell of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Barb(Frank) Miller of Hazard, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Stacy, daughters Bonnie Bradley and Penny Bradley, parents Clarence and Betty Stacy and brothers: Aaron, Hershel, John, Howard and Corbett Stacy.
Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.
Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 1 PM with Rev Bruce Bennett officiating.
Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson, IN 46366.
Memorials may be made to the Donor’s choice.
