Funeral services for Walter J. Hunter, 82, of Knox, are Thursday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. CST at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox, with visitation there Wednesday, Dec. 28 from 4 until 8 p.m. CST.

A private celebration of life service for Chris E. Calentine, 69, of Lake Bruce is scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Bruce Association or to the family. Frain Mortuary in Winamac is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service for Twilia Christina Patterson, 63, of Indianapolis, formerly of Medaryville, will take place Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 6 p.m. EST at 2016 at Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Indianapolis.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon – 2 PM EST Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Medaryville Christian Church in Medaryville, followed by a 2 p.m. funeral service.

The Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Medaryville is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.

A visitation for Frank Napierkowski, 60, of Knox, will take place Tuesday, December 27 from 4  until 8 p.m. at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox.

No other services will take place.

Funeral services for Phyllis A. Hulmes, 76, of Winamac, are Thursday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. at the Monterey United Methodist Church. Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 28 from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Frain Mortuary in Winamac and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Funeral services for Harold L. “Hoot” Hoover, 83, of Winamac, are Wednesday, Dec. 28 a 1 p.m. EST at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, with visitation there from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

The VFW and American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the activities department of Millers Merry Manor or Pulaski Health Care Center.

A memorial service for Donald Miller, 52, of Star City will be held Friday, December 23 at 2 p.m. at *First United Methodist Church in Winamac, with visitation there from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. A Funeral Mass for Christine “Tina” Shires, 41, of Winamac will be held Tuesday, December 20 at 1:00 p.m. EST at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winamac, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Memorials may be made in the form of Mass intentions or given to the family to establish an education fund for her daughters.
