Knox, IN – Minnie Wagner, 93, passed away quietly on Friday, November 29, 2019 at LaPorte Hospital. She and her twin sister Mary were born May 6, 1926, in Lansing Illinois, to the late John and Margretha DeYoung. On February 22, 1944 she married James E. Wagner in Rensselaer, Indiana.

Alice I. Lipke, age 97, of Knox, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019. Alice was born May 11, 1922 in LaPorte to Forrest Sayles and Joanna Genson Sayles, both deceased. On March 9, 1968 she married Bennett “Ben” Lipke, who preceded her in death on September 26, 2014. Alice and Ben were part of the original partnership in 5 Star Grocery Store in Knox. She is survived by her daughters Susan Carpentier of LaPorte and Diane Messman of Knox, one sister, Constance Reynolds of LaPorte, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, David Messman and five brothers and sisters. Private family services will take place at a later date. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Marjean Mae Wuethrich, 91, of Fishers, IN (formerly of Sun City, NV) went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. She passed away peacefully at Woodland Terrace in Carmel, IN.
