80-year-old Rita Joann Oliver, of San Pierre, IN passed away April 8, 2018. She was born August 16, 1937 to Wayne and Lavern Bratton of San Pierre. Rita attended grade school and graduated high school in San Pierre.
She is survived by husband James Oliver, two sons, Bruce E. Oliver of Orlando, FL, and Brian J. Oliver of San Pierre, IN, three granddaughters, Deanna and Misty of MO, and Samantha of FL, three grandsons, Wayne of Indianapolis, and Bruce Jr and Donald J of Culver, IN. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by granddaughter Katie Oliver of Winter Springs, FL, her parents Wayne and Lavern Bratton, and her brother Richard Bratton.
Rita enjoyed playing Bingo and loved the Lunch Bunch of San Pierre. She attended All Saints Catholic church and was an excellent homemaker.
Memorial services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church on Friday, May 4, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with lunch immediately following next door at the church. The O’Donnell Funeral Home in North Judson is in charge of arrangements.
