Robert J. Sallee, 61 of Francesville passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 26, 2018. He was born October 3, 1956 in Valparaiso to Leroy and Wilma Lou (Ludington) Sallee. Bob spent his career working as a truck driver and a line hauler, most recently for Vanguard National Trailer Corporation. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, refurbishing houses, and spending time with his grandsons.
Bob is survived by his children: Jon Sallee of Texas, Kassandra Johnson of South Bend; grandsons: Dylan and Derrick Logan; siblings: Jim (Kathy) Sallee of North Judson, Pamela (Pat) Patterson of Texas, Jan Brown of Valparaiso, and Beth Sallee of Medaryville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three siblings.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM CST at Wanatah Funeral Chapel, 309 N. Main St., Wanatah, with the funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM CST. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for his grandsons’ education.
