Sidney B. Leman

Sidney B. Leman, 95, of Francesville, IN went home to be with the Lord at 12:40 AM on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Winamac, IN. Sidney was a lifelong farmer in Pulaski County. He was born on July 4, 1922 in Metamora, IL to the late Henry and Cordelia Gudeman Leman. He graduated from Francesville High School with the class of 1940. Sidney served in the US Army during WWII. On August 4, 1945, he married Fern Gutwein in Francesville. The couple enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida with relatives and friends.

Sidney was an active member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church where he served faithfully throughout his life. He was a founding board member of Parkview Haven Retirement Home and served on numerous other local boards.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM EST Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Apostolic Christian Church in Francesville with ministers of the church officiating.

Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville. The American Legion will provide Military Graveside Services.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EST Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN and one hour prior to services at the church Thursday.
