Incidents:

9/8/14 – A resident in the 3300 block of East Toto Road in Knox reported his garbage bin was stolen overnight. It belongs to A&W from Culver.

9/8/14 – Deputies responded to a property damage accident in the 3100 block of East 400 South in Knox.

9/9/14 – A resident in the 200 block of East 625 South in Knox said his neighbor’s dog attacked his dog, and he shot it.

9/9/14 – Officials with Child Protective Services advised the Starke County Sheriff’s Department of sexual misconduct with a minor allegations at a Knox residence.

9/9/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy and Starke County EMS responded to an accident with injuries in the 5000 block of East 200 South in Knox.

9/9/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a vehicle versus deer accident on San Pierre Road.

9/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a property damage accident at the intersection of Toto Road and 350 East in Knox.

9/12/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a vehicle versus deer accident on 625 South west of 900 East in Monterey.

9/12/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a property damage accident in the westbound lane of U.S. 30 by the west entrance to the Grovertown Truck Stop.

9/12/14 – A resident in the 2600 block of South 700 East in Knox reported the safe was stolen from her residence.

9/12/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a theft from a bank-owned property in the 8800 block of East 150 North in Knox.

9/12/14 – Starke County EMS, Knox Police, the Starke County Sheriff’s Department and Knox Fire Department First Responders were called to an accident with injuries in the 2300 block of South U.S. 35 in Knox.

9/13/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Starke County EMS and Koontz Lake Fire Department First Responders were called to a traffic accident on U.S. 30 in the westbound lane in front of the Grovertown Truck Stop.

9/13/14 – A resident in the 3400 block of South Range Road advised someone struck her mailbox and garbage cans, and car parts are scattered in front of her home. She did not see or hear the accident happen.

9/14/14 – Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies, Starke County EMS and Knox and Bass Lake Fire Department First Responders responded to an accident with injuries on Toto Road west of U.S. 35 in Knox.

9/14/14 – A resident in the 800 block of South Pearl Street in Knox filed a theft report.

9/14/14 – A Knox resident hit a dead deer on U.S. 35 just north of State Road 8 and said his car is now overheating.

9/14/14 – A resident in the 5600 BLK OF S 500 West in North Judson reported her son’s window was broken out the previous night by some other boys.

Arrests:

9/8/14 – Zachary Anthony Howisen,41, North Judson – Warrant.

9/11/14 – David F. Mowbray, 18, Knox – Illegal possession or consumption of alcohol, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Incidents:
9/08/14 – Police responded to a property damage accident on State Road 10 East of State Road 39 North. North Judson Police Chief Deputy Joe Budner estimated the damage at over $1,000.00.

9/08/14 – An employee at the Dollar General store called police in reference to a suspicious person. North Judson Police Officer Frank Thomas located the male subject and conducted a traffic stop. The male subject explained what he did and was released from the scene.

9/09/14 – A resident reported a neighbor dispute in the 200 block of East Leslie Street. North Judson Police Chief Deputy Joe Budner spoke with the subjects and they advised that there were no problems.

9/10/14 – Officers responded to an alarm call in the 5200 block of West State Road 10. It was found to be a false alarm.

9/12/14 – A property damage accident was reported to police in a parking lot in the 300 block of West Talmer Avenue. The damage was under $1,000.00. Both parties exchanged information. No report was taken.

9/12/14 – Police responded to a verbal argument in the 600 block of Keller Avenue. Both parties were separated for the evening.

9/13/14 – Police Chief Deputy Joe Budner located a package containing medical devices in the 6100 block of South Oakwood Avenue. The items were returned to the rightful owner.

9/13/14 – A driver of a vehicle reported to North Judson Police that her windshield was struck by an unknown object that left a circular mark on the windshield. This incident occurred in the area of 500 to 600 West State Road 10. Officers checked the area and were unable to find the source of the incident.
