Incidents:

3/24/14 – A resident in the 10000 block of East Tippecanoe Dr. in Koontz Lake reported vandalism to his company truck. March 24 – Susan G. Fields, 45, of Winamac, hit a deer on SR 39 about 3 miles south of SR 10.

3/24/14 – A resident in the 7700 block of North Tecumseh Road in Walkerton reported someone smashed the rear window of her vehicle.

3/24/14 – A resident in the 10000 block of East Ostego Lane in Walkerton reported someone smashed the rear window of his vehicle.

3/24/14 – A Walkerton man told a deputy he loaned his vehicle to someone on Jan. 16 so she could go to court, and she has not returned it. Someone else was supposed to bring the vehicle back, but he was told she got arrested in Marshall County. The deputy told him this is a civil matter since he gave permission for the person to use his vehicle.

3/24/14 – A Walkerton resident in the 8000 block of Tecumseh Road reported someone smashed one of his vehicle windows.

3/24/14 – ADT advised a residential burglary alarm had been activated in the living room of a home in the 1700 block of N. 1025 E. in Grovertown.

3/24/14 – A North Judson man reported several juveniles between the ages of 10 and 13 were trying to start a fire at a pole at the intersection of 500 S. and 100 W. There was no property damage to report. The responding officer talked to the mother, who said she would speak to the children about the incident.

3/24/14 – A caller in the 4000 block of 800 S. in North Judson reported a suspicious truck driving back and forth in front of her house and sitting in the road without lights on.

3/24/14 – Dispatchers were notified that a tree was on fire in the 3500 block of West 800 S. in North Judson. March 25 – A Walkerton resident in the 11000 block of East Circle Ave. reported a window on his vehicle was busted.

3/25/14– A resident in the 3400 block of West 400 S. in North Judson asked to speak to an officer because someone is reportedly sending people to her house and telling them to buy drugs.

3/25/14 – Officers conducting a methamphetamine lab investigation in the 3000 block of S. 100 W. in North Judson arrested Russell H. Hendron, 53, of North Judson.

3/25/14 – A resident in the 4300 block of East CR 210 in Knox called the police after walking into her home and hearing a loud noise upstairs. She went back outside and called from her vehicle.

3/25/14 – Officers were called to a home in the 8000 block of Tecumseh Road in Walkerton to take a report from a man whose windshield was just broken out of his vehicle.

3/26/14 – A resident in the 6400 block of East 200 N. in Grovertown called the police to report suspicious behavior from two men who came to the residence, stated they ran out of gas, went back to their truck, moved it forward and are now sitting inside it with the lights on.

3/26/14 – A resident in the 11000 block of Circle Ave. in Walkerton reported his truck windows were vandalized again.

3/26/14 – A resident in the 8000 block of N. Tecumseh Road in Walkerton reported a black Ford F150 drove by his house the previous night and threw a rock at his residence.

3/26/14– A resident in the 11000 block of Pottawotomie Trail in Walkerton advised her windshield was broken out of her car overnight.

3/26/14 – Officers were called to a residence in the 100 block of West Toto Road in North Judson regarding a protective order violation.

3/26/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Department deputy accompanied an official from the Starke County Health Department to a residence in the 3100 block of South Range Road to speak to him about living in a mobile home with no water or sewer.

3/26/14 – A resident in the 4100 block of East 175 N. came home and found the residence had been broken into.

3/26/14 – A woman in the 500 block of West 500 S. in North Judson called the police after she saw a man walking around outside with a flashlight. She says he was a younger man who came to her door and asked why she was looking at him funny. He then left westbound on 500 S. approaching 100 W.

3/26/14 – Officers were called to a home in the 2600 block of East 150 S. in Knox regarding domestic violence and criminal damage to a vehicle after a man reportedly refused to leave. He left before the officers arrived. A copy of their report was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

3/26/14– A man in the 8000 block of North Bush St. in Walkerton called the police to report someone vandalizing his vehicle while he is inside it.

3/27/14 – Officers were called to a residence in the 7200 block of East 25 N. in Knox in response to a report of an unwanted man inside the home. Nathan Richie, 26, was held on criminal trespass charges.

3/27/14 – A resident in the 11000 block of east Pottawotomie Trail N. in Walkerton reported damage to his mailbox sometime between 2 and 4 p.m. the previous day.

3/27/14 – A resident in the 1100 block of Pottawotomie Trail N. in Koontz Lake reported his mailbox and vehicle were vandalized the previous night.

3/27/14 – Officers responded to the 11200 block of E. Circle Ave. in Koontz Lake for a report of a window broken out of a motor home the previous night.

3/27/14 – A resident in the 2700 block of West Elcona Dr. in North Judson reported a loose, brown boxer running around the area and becoming very aggressive. He believes the dog belongs to someone in the area.

3/27/14 – A resident in the 2000 block of S. State Road 23 in Ober called the police to report an unruly 11-year-old boy.

3/27/14 – A resident in the 2700 block of West Elcona Dr. in North Judson called again regarding the loose boxer in his neighborhood. He said the dog is back in his yard, and his wife is afraid to go outside to feed her cats because of it. An officer checked the area but was unable to find it.

3/27/14 – A resident in the 10100 block of E. 500 N. in Grovertown called to report a prowler on the property. Officers checked the area and didn’t find anybody.

03/28/14 – A motorist hit a deer at the intersection of State Road 23 and State Road 8 in Knox. He drove the vehicle to the Phillips 66 gas station.

03/28/14 – A caller advised cows in the middle of 500 S. just west of 50 E. in Knox and said she almost hit one.

03/28/14 – A white truck pumped $110.75 worth of gas at a station on U.S. 30 in Hamlet and drove off.

03/29/14 – Officers responded to a home in the 6000 block of East Toto Road for a battery complaint.

03/29/14 – Officers responded to the 2000 block of East 800 S. in Knox for a report of campaign signs around the county that are being damaged.

03/29/14 – Officers responded to a residence in the 1800 block of South 100 E. in Knox for a report of a suspicious vehicle that’s been sitting there since last night, owner unknown.

03/29/14 – Officers responded to a residence in the 6200 block of East 25 N. in Knox to take a report of someone in a black Dodge quad-cab pickup truck with tinted windows and a “aggressive tires” stealing campaign signs.

03/29/14 – Officers responded to a report of someone burning old wallpaper and shingles behind the old Weinberg store on Toto Road.

03/29/14 – A caller advised a very large dog is in the roadway at State Road 10 and Bailey’s in Knox and is causing a traffic hazard.

03/29/14 – Officers responded to a report of a suspicious man walking eastbound on 150 S. from 250 E. wearing orange shorts and a camo jacket. The caller said he looks like he’s carrying a rifle over his shoulder and is going through trash cans in the area.

03/29/14 – A resident in the 6900 block of South 700 W. in North Judson reported the theft of a set of moose antlers that were mounted to an archway in the driveway.

03/29/14 – Officers were called to a home in the 5100 block of South 275 W. in North Judson regarding a domestic situation involving a mother and a son.

03/29/14 – Officers were called to the area of 400 E. and 700 S. in Knox by a candidate who said several of his campaign signs have been thrown in a ditch along with Billy Bope and Greg Wireman signs.

03/30/14 – Deputies from the Starke County Sheriff’s Office and Knox Police Department responded to a residence in the 7500 block of East 50 S. in Knox for a report of a domestic disturbance between a husband and a wife.

03/30/14 – A resident in the 3400 block of West 400 S. in North Judson called the police after reportedly being battered by her neighbor.

03/30/14 – Officers responded to a report of vandalism in the 2400 block of East Toto Road in Knox.

03/30/14 – A resident in the 2400 block of West 700 S. in North Judson said a man on a 4-wheeler just brought his dog back after shooting it because it was getting into his chickens.

03/30/14 – Officers received a call from an alarm company regarding a back door alarm in the 4600 block of East State Road 10 in Knox. They advised a man who does not have the pass code was there.

03/30/14 – Hazel Manns, 45, of Knox, advised she hit a deer in the 11800 block of East 50 N. in Knox.

03/30/14 – Officers received a report of a man running west on Green Street in San Pierre with no pants on.

Arrests:

03/25/14 – Russell S. Hendron, 53, North Judson: Possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia.

03/27/14 – Nathan C. Richie, 26, Knox: Criminal trespass to residence.

Incidents:

3/23/14 – Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputies, Francesville and Winamac E.M.S. and the Francesville Fire Department responded to a head-on collision.

3/24/14 – Winamac police, Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputies and Francesville EMS all responded to a domestic dispute between two male and female subjects.

3/24/14 – The Winamac Fire Dept. responded to two vehicle fires near a residence.

3/24/14 – A domestic dispute between a married couple ended with a Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputy’s involvement.

3/24/14 – Francesville police responded when a dispute broke out between a mother and daughter.

3/24/14 – Winamac police and Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputies got involved when a woman received threatening text messages.

3/26/14 – Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies took a report of stolen property from a local woman’s storage bin.

3/26/14 – Deputies responded to a possible battery incident within the Pulaski County Jail.

3/28/14 – A woman was arrested for allegedly trespassing in an unknown man’s bathroom.

3/28/14 – A woman armed herself with a baseball bat after allegedly getting beaten by her husband. Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies intervened.

Incidents:
03/25/14 Police responded to a fraud and forgery complaint in the 300 W. block of Talmer Avenue. The complaint is still being investigated.

03/25/14 Officers responded to an animal complaint at Fingerhut Bakery. A loose dog was reported trying to get in the bakery. An officer checked the area but was unable to locate the dog.

03/25/14 The North Judson Police Department responded to a single vehicle property damage accident in the 700 block of E. Talmer Avenue. The driver of the vehicle told Officer Frank Thomas that he was turning into a business and took his eyes off of where he was going. He said he glanced at the vehicle behind him and struck a utility pole. The driver was not injured. Officer Thomas estimated the damages at over $2,500.

03/25/14 Officer Frank Thomas located a subject that had a warrant for Driving While Suspended from White County. Officer Thomas verified the warrant and arrested Taylor S. Patton, 27, of Winamac.

03/26/14 Police responded to an alarm call in the 600 block of W. Talmer Avenue. A delivery driver set off the alarm.

03/27/14 Two reckless driving complaints were investigated. Neither vehicle was located by the officer.

03/29/14 North Judson Police Officer Frank Thomas was on patrol and performed a traffic stop on a vehicle with a license plate belonging to another vehicle on it. During a brief investigation, officer Thomas arrested the passenger of the vehicle. Tiffany M. Witham, 31, of Winamac was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Syringe and Possession of Paraphernalia. Officer Thomas was assisted by North Judson Reserve Police Officer Chris Butler.

Arrests:
03/25/14 Taylor S. Patton, 27, of Winamac, IN, was arrested on a warrant from White County for Driving While Suspended.

03/29/14 Tiffany M. Witham, 31, of Winamac, IN, was arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Syringe and Possession of Paraphernalia.
