Incidents:

8/4/14 – A Knox woman reported being intimidated and threatened by her soon-to-be ex-husband.

8/4/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Starke County EMS and Bass Lake Fire Department First Responders responded to a multiple-vehicle rollover accident in front of the Bass Lake Fire Station on U.S. 35.

8/5/14 – A Walkerton resident reported his storage shed on State Road 23 has been broken into.

8/5/14 – Deputies took a report of a property damage accident at the Bass Lake Community Center. A female driver backed a Dodge Caliber into a pole.

8/5/14 – A resident reported receiving a telephone message from the IRS. Dispatchers told him not to respond, as it is a telephone scam.

8/7/14 – A resident in the 2200 block of South 450 East in Knox reported the theft of a diamond ring from her jewelry box.

8/7/14 – A caller reported finding a duffel bag full of apparent meth lab trash on 700 East north of State Road 10.

8/7/14 – A man reported his son’s moped was stolen from a residence across from the Marathon station in Koontz Lake earlier today.

8/7/14 – Anna Malgorzata, 38, of Donaldson, was northbound on 50 East east of 1100 East, swerved to avoid hitting a deer and struck a tree. She was not injured.

8/8/14 – A resident in the 8800 block of East Long Lane Drive in Knox reported the theft of a concrete statue from the yard.

8/8/14 – Deputies responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on 500 West between 800 and 700 South. No injuries were reported.

8/8/14 – A resident in the 10200 block of East 775 South in Monterey reported the theft of an Xbox.

8/8/14 – A resident in the 2600 block of South 700 East reported the theft of a bicycle.

8/8/14 – A resident in the 1900 block of East 600 North in Grovertown reported a barn was broken into and several items were taken.

8/8/14 – The Stakre County Sheriff’s Department, Knox Fire Department and Starke County EMS responded to an accident with injuries and a vehicle on fire on Toto Road at 200 East.

8/8/14 – Deputies responded to a roll-over accident on U.S. 35 across from the Melody Drive-In at Bass Lake.

8/9/14 – Shelby Loree Gilbert, 20, of Knox, hit a deer in the 5900 block of East 200 South in Knox.

8/9/14 – Deputies responded to a multiple-vehicle property damage only accident at the intersection of State Road 8 and U.S. 35 in Knox.

8/10/14 – A resident in the 1200 block of West 150 South in North Judson reported receiving a threatening telephone call from a LaPorte man.

8/14/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a property damage crash at the intersection of U.S. 30 and State Road 23 in Knox.

8/10/14 – A resident in the 8500 block of East 150 South in Knox reported the theft of cement lawn ornaments from her residence.

8/9/14 – Larry D. Scutchfield, 69, Plymouth: Driving while suspended prior.

8/10/14 – Bryan Nathaniel Williams, 35, Walkerton: Domestic battery in the presence of a child x4, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

8/9/14 – Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies took a report of threats and harassment.

8/9/14 – Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of harassing phone calls.

8/10/14 – Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies took a report of trespassing.
