Incidents:

12/15/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on 750 East south of State Road 10 in Knox.

12/15/14 – A resident in the 1100 block of east 100 South in Knox reported property damage.

12/15/14 – An employee at Mark Bailey’s Discount Center in North Judson reported the theft of an air compressor and a power impact driver.

12/15/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident at Range Road and State Road 10 in Knox. A crash report was not taken since total damage was less than $1,000.

12/16/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on 500 North at the EZ Campground in Grovertown.

12/16/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on U.S. 35 north of 900 South in Knox.

12/16/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer crash in the 2200 block of East 350 South in Knox.

12/16/14 – A resident in the 9900 block of east 750 North in Walkerton reported the theft of Christmas lights from his fence.

12/16/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy and a North Judson Police Officer responded to a domestic abuse complaint in the 3700 block of South 800 West in San Pierre and made an arrest.

12/17/14 – A resident in the 3700 block of South 800 West in San Pierre contacted the sheriff’s department when the person accused of beating her the previous night returned to her residence. A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy responded and made an arrest.

12/17/14 – A Walkerton resident reported a single-vehicle property damage accident on the bridge at Koontz Lake Dam. The vehicle was able to be driven home.

12/17/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Starke County EMS and Hamlet Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a wrecked semi on U.S. 30 one mile west of U.S. 35 in Hamlet.

12/19/14 – A resident in the 5400 block of south 250 East in Knox reported a storage trailer parked outside the residence was broken into.

12/19/14 – A resident in the 8700 block of east 150 South in Knox reported someone shot the patio doors out of the home.

12/19/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash on 700 East at State Road 10.

12/19/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash in the 2200 block of South 450 East in Knox.

12/20/14 – The North Judson-Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department and Starke County EMS responded to a structure fire in the 2600 block of West First Street in North Judson. The resident advised the fire started in the furnace.

12/20/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a tractor-trailer versus deer crash on U.S. 35 at U.S. 30 in Hamlet.

12/21/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash in the 700 block of east U.S. 421 in San Pierre.

12/14/14 – An Xbox and games were reported stolen from a residence in the 700 block of East Danker Street.

12/17/14 – A resident in the 100 block of Binkley Drive in Knox reported the theft of a gas cap for the third time in the past week.

12/19/14 – A called in the 600 block of South Pearl Street in Knox reported her vehicle was egged.

12/19/14 – A resident at the Super Value Inn in Knox reported the theft of his grill from outside his room.
