Incidents:
04/01/11 A resident in the 500 Block of W. Talmer Avenue reported some tools taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway. Reported missing to the North Judson Police was a cordless drill and an Milwaukee hammer drill. This remains under investigation.

03/30/11 North Judson Police investigated a report of a shoplifter at the Dollar General Store. Chief Doug Vessely investigated the incident and arrested Jeannie B. Rubalcava for Theft and Possession of Marijuana under 30 grams.

03-28-11 North Judson Police responded to the 600 block of Lane Street in reference to a theft from a vehicle. A payroll check was taken from the glove box and the bank was notified to stop payment on the check. Also involved with this same incident was locating several credit cards and driver’s license, which were recovered and returned to the owner.

04/01/11 – Patrick Arnett, 20, North Judson, IN, arrested Illegal Possession Alcohol by Minor.

03/31/11 – Cutis M. Batey, 50, 705 E. Talmer Ave., North Judson, IN, arrested for Failure to Appear on a Starke County Warrant.

03/30/11 – Jeannie B. Rubalcava, 52, 6408 US #421, Medaryville, IN, arrested for Theft, Possession of Marijuana under 30 grams, and a Body Attachment from Pulaski County.

03/29/11 – Donald Ray Dennison, Jr., 21, 5344 Independence Ave., Portage, IN, arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant through Porter County.

03/28/11 An unwanted subject removed from Wayne Apartments.

04/02/11 Richard Lavery was arrested and has preliminary charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Open Container.

Incidents:
04/03/11 A Winamac resident told police that he was driving down the road and a tree fell on his truck. He wasn’t injured but his truck was damaged.

04/03/11 A caller in the Denham area reported that the woods were on fire near his residence. The North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department was dispatched to the scene.

04/03/11 A Winamac resident reported his bike stolen.

04/03/11 An officer was approached by a Pulaski resident who said that some unknown suspect(s) untied his pontoon boat. He believes someone tried to steal it but it got caught up.

04/03/11 A large field fire was reported in the Beardstown area. State Park employees were asked to check and see if it reached the campground. They reported that it hadn’t.

04/02/11 A Star City resident reported the theft of a horse trailer.

04/01/11 An accident involving a pickup truck and an ATV was reported to the Sheriff’s Department. No injuries were reported.

04/01/11 A caller called in a possible dog fight in Monterey. Police could not find any evidence of the event.

03/31/11 A Denham resident reported a grass fire and it was spreading fast. The North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department was called to the scene.

03/31/11 A woods fire was reported in the Ripley area. The Winamac Fire Department was called to the scene.

03/31/11 A possible woods fire was reported in the Starke City area. The Star City Fire Department was called to the scene.

03/31/11 A caller in the Bruce Lake area reported the theft of anhydrous tanks.

03/30/11 A caller reported a subject went up to a residence in Winamac and started loading up a bunch of stuff. After police investigated the call, the subject returned the property that was taken.

03/30/11 A woods fire was reported in the Medaryville area and it was spreading fast. The Medaryville Fire Department was called to the scene.

03/28/11 A Winamac resident reported the theft of a tailgate.

03/28/11 A caller reported a corn field on fire in the Pulaski area.

03/28/11 A caller reported that two male subjects came out of his barn and left on foot from his property. Nothing was reported stolen.

Incidents:
04/04/11 Alcie Mercer reported the theft of $100 from her kitchen table. There is a suspect in this case.

04/01/11 Eunice Cleveland told police that some unknown person(s) had thrown a large rock through the driver’s side window of her 1998 Ford Ranger truck that was parked by Washington Street.

03/31/11 Hobart Givens reported that three of his tires on his 2001 Ford Taurus had been slashed and deflated. There is a possible suspect in the case.

03/30/11 The Water Superintendent advised that he shut off the water at 510 S. Shield Street on March 25th and his crews returned on March 28th to find the meter had been tampered with. They found that the resident had turned the water back on.

03/30/11 Dawn Stamper reported that someone stole her 15-month-old Pit Bull dog named Cooper. The dog was fenced in and she observed the entrance gate closed but it was not secured with the bungee cords that usually secure the gate. The cords were loosened and hanging off the gate.

04/02/11 A resident in the 1100 block of E. 400 N. in Knox reported that some unknown person(s) kicked in a basement door and window.

04/02/11 A resident in the 7200 block of W. 700 S. in North Judson reported finding a wallet.

04/01/11 A resident in the 4700 block of S. 450 W. in North Judson reported that his residence has been broken into and his guns and medications were taken.

04/01/11 Jason Crane called police report the theft of a kayak and two paddles.

04/01/11 Ida in the 5800 block of S. U Road E. in North Judson reported the theft of a security camera.

03/29/11 Omas Fletcher, 45, of Grovertown, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts).
