1/26/15 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a property damage accident on 600 East just south of 400 North in Hamlet.
1/26/15 – Jason Cooke was placed on lock-down in an isolation cell at the Starke County Jail after he allegedly became combative with jail personnel and Starke County Sheriff’s Deputies, who used a taser on him twice. The incident is under investigation.

1/31/15 – A resident in the 1900 block of west 200 South Sq. in North Judson caught two men trying to steal a 4-wheeler and said they took off westbound on 200 South in a red 1993 Chevrolet truck.

Incidents
1/20/15 – Several items were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of South Heaton Street in Knox, including a television, Xbox One, handgun, magazines and ammunition.
1/20/15 – A Knox woman reported her 1995 Ford Mustang was stolen and sold to a man in Hamlet. She advised her name was forged on the title before the car was sold for $300.
1/26/15 – A Knox woman reported criminal trespass and damage to her property and told officers she has video of a known suspect damaging her vehicle on Jan. 22.
1/29/15 – A man reported the security light on shelter 6 at Wythogan Park in Knox was broken. The officer who took the report noted this damage is in addition to incidents where suspects broke a plexiglass display located on the south side of the concession stand.
1/29/15 – A television, laptop computer and a pool stick bag are among the items reported missing from a residence in the 100 block of North East Street.
