07/04/11 A Francesville resident reported that the front window in the home was broken. Nothing was reported stolen.
07/04/11 Caller reported a truck flipped over in the Monterey area. No injuries were reported at the scene.
07/02/11 The Monterey Fire Department was called to a trailer fire. No injuries were reported.
07/02/11 Police were notified by a resident that her car ran out of gas and she parked it in the Winamac area while she left to get gas. While she was gone, some unknown person(s) broke out the driver’s side window and stole clothes from the car.
07/02/11 A Winamac resident reported the theft of a smaller outboard motor from a storage shed.
07/01/11 A house fire was called in from the Medaryville area. The caller believes lightning may have hit the residence. The caller also believes the residence is vacant.
07/01/11 Caller reported damage to headstones at the Star City cemetery. In a preliminary investigation, police believe that a vehicle was eastbound on 600, missed the curve, hit the guardrail, and attempted to speed away. It appeared the driver then lost control, went 30-40 yards on 150 East and then struck three or four grave markers and left the scene.
07/01/11 A Francesville resident told police that she just arrived home and found her home had been entered and several big items were taken, including the tape out of her security system.

07/03/11 Ronald White of Knox reported the theft of items from his vehicle. The vehicle was parked inside the garage with the garage door open and the vehicle windows down. Some uknown person(s) entered the garage and took several items.
06/30/11 Kim Fort reported the theft of her son’s bicycle. The bicycle was later recovered and the owners were called.
06/30/11 Larry May of Knox reported the theft of a flat screen black computer monitor, DeWalt leaf blower, Craftsman rechargeable weed eater, and a Roland gas weed eater. There is a possible suspect in this case.
06/30/11 Formal charges are pending against a Knox resident who reportedly left her dogs inside a hot car while she was getting tests done at the hospital. One of the dogs died as a result of neglect. She could face a charge of Animal Cruelty.
