Incidents:
04/08/12 North Judson police responded to a loud music complaint in the 300 block of Franklin Street. The music was turned down.

04/08/12 A hit and run accident was reported to the North Judson police. The owner stated he noticed damages the next, as the vehicle was parked in North Judson last night. The investigation continues.

04/04/12 A check fraud investigation was initiated by the North Judson police after receiving information that a young female subject attempted to cash a $4,000.00 check that was stolen from Pulaski County earlier. The check was not cashed and the female was located and charged with Felony Fraud. A complete report was furnished to the Starke County Prosecutor’s office for review.

04/03/12 A report of a vehicle fire, just east of North Judson on State Road 10, was investigated by the North Judson Police and the North Judson-Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to extinguish the blaze. Tim Jackson stated his 2002 Ford Utility Vehicle started on fire under the hood as he was traveling west on State Road 10. The vehicle was totaled.

04/02/12 The North Judson police investigated a minor property damage accident in the alley along side of the 300 block of Schricker Avenue. No injuries were reported.

04/08/12 Matthew N. Uffmann, 24 , 6785 South Shewski Road, Knox, IN, was arrested on preliminary charges of Child Neglect, Felony Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated, and for Operator Never Licensed.

04/06/12 Clayton N. Conley, 39, 509 Laurel Street, North Judson, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and for Suspended Driving while a Habitual Traffic Violator for Life.

Incidents:
04/08/12 Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department officers responded to a reckless driving incident.

04/08/12 The Medaryville Fire Department was called to a controlled burn that has gotten out of hand and headed into the woods.

04/08/12 The Winamac Police Department was responded to a call of a possible domestic violence situation. A woman called police to say a man choked her. One was arrested on charges of Invasion of Privacy and Domestic Battery.

04/08/12 The Winamac Fire Department was called to a deck fire at a resident’s back yard.

04/08/12 A man was arrested after a domestic dispute. A juvenile was injured with a cut on the lip.

04/08/12 A complaint was received by the Sheriff’s Department where teens were reportedly riding in a vehicle speeding through the alleys and riding on top of the roof the vehicle.

04/07/12 A caller in Harris Township called police to report that he was test driving a mower and ran into a parked car. No injuries were reported.

04/07/12 The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a fire that was getting out of hand in the Rich Grove Township area. The Starke County Sheriff’s Department was notified of the situation and dispatched the North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department to the scene. The fire was getting into the woods and getting toward the house.

04/06/12 An accident was reported in the Winamac area. The driver hit a pole after he dodged a deer in the road. Driver was not injured and the vehicle is off in a cornfield. The pole was broken, but no lines were in the road.

04/06/12 A Medaryville resident called in a criminal mischief incident. The windows were broken out of a piece of equipment.

04/06/12 A person at the Monterey bank notified police that a woman was just in the bank asking for money. She states that her mother is dying in a Chicago hospital and needs money or they will pull the plug on her. She has reportedly been in Fulton County doing the same thing.

04/06/12 The Medaryville Fire Department was called to a fire at an abandoned trailer. The caller said the fire was spreading close to the woods and a couple of other trailers.

04/05/12 A caller said his mother-in-law’s vehicle was stolen.

04/05/12 A juvenile injured his shoulder after he crashed a moped in the Winamac area.

04/04/12 A resident called police to report that she got a call from her bank in North Judson and two females were trying to cash a check from her made out for $4,000. She believes the check was stolen. The case remains under investigation.

04/04/12 A Winamac resident reported that he had been gone for a few days and some unknown person(s) attempted a break-in at his residence.

04/03/12 A Winamac resident reported that his farm office door was kicked in.

04/05/12 A caller from the scrap yard on U.S. 35 told police that someone had done damage to their scale.

04/05/12 A caller from the 6600 block of West 750 North in Winamac told police that someone stole his guitar and he believes it is in the Knox Pawn Shop.

04/05/12 A caller from the 3100 block of South Ind. 39 told police that his tablet PC, wallet, and turntables were stolen from his vehicle.

04/05/12 A home was reportedly broken into and the closets ransacked in the 5200 block of North Range Road in Knox.

04/05/12 An officer was requested at Knox Fertilizer in reference to an employee’s car’s windows being busted out.

04/05/12 A maroon Dodge was reportedly stolen from the 2300 block of East 200 South in Knox.

04/04/12 A possible meth lab was investigated in the 6700 block of West 700 South in North Judson with assistance from Indiana State Police.

04/04/12 A medicine cabinet was reportedly cleaned out in the 4700 block of East 250 South in Knox after the home was broken into.

04/03/12 A vehicle was broken into near Knox Fertilizer and medication was stolen.

04/02/12 Lee Nagai of Hamlet told police that someone had cut holes in the sidewall curtain of his two hog barns, and he had previously discovered that people were stealing his pigs as well.

04/01/12 Kathy Carter of Walkerton told police that someone stole two handguns from her late father in the 10900 block of East South Avenue in Walkerton.

04/01/12 A caller from the 3800 block of South 200 East in Knox told police that a neighbor had threatened to kill her stepfather and everyone in the house.

04/01/12 The windows of four vehicles were reportedly shot out with BB guns in the 7900 block of North Tonti Lane in Koontz Lake.

04/01/12 An aluminum jon boat was reported stolen in the 2300 block of West U Road in North Judson.

03/30/12 A theft of $400 worth of fishing rods was reported in the 11000 block of Wakwa Lane in Walkerton.

03/30/12 A male was reportedly jumped by multiple male subjects who stole his wallet and money in the 8900 block of South Sycamore Street in Monterey.

03/29/12 A home in the 4100 block of East 200 South in Knox was reportedly TP’d.

03/29/12 Paula Hill of Walkerton told police that someone had stolen new necklaces from her jewelry box.

03/29/12 Two girls were reportedly busting beer bottles on the road near 200 N and Ind. 23.

03/29/12 A resident of the 9300 block of West 900 South told police that his front door appeared to have been forced open.

03/29/12 Vandalism of a mailbox was reported in the 6400 block of South Eastern Drive in Bass Lake.

03/28/12 A semi and trailer were reportedly stolen from the Grovertown Truck Stop.

03/28/12 An IR camera was reportedly stolen from the woods near 700 East between 200 North and 250 North in Knox.

03/28/12 A caller from the 1800 block of West 450 South in North Judson reported that someone had stolen cabinets and other items from a vacant foreclosure property.

03/27/12 A caller near the intersection of State Road 8 and State Road 23 told police that a red Ford Focus had tried to run him off the road.

03/27/12 Julie Royce of North Judson told police that someone left a deer head in her driveway and has been messing with her deadbolts.

03/26/12 Darlene Bickel of Knox told police that her husband’s truck had been broken into and checks were stolen, as well as money and raffle tickets while the vehicle was parked at the American Legion in Knox.

03/26/12 A resident of the 5000 block of South 275 West in North Judson advised police that she had found drugs on her property.

03/26/12 A credit card fraud was reported in the 1800 block of East 400 South in Knox.

03/25/12 A caller from the 5700 block of South 350 East in Knox told police she believes someone shot at her residence.

03/25/12 A resident of the 6000 block of South C.R. 210 in Bass Lake advised police that her shed had been broken into and the support pole is missing.

04/05/12 Virginia Clemons called police to report that her nephew was bitten by a dog.

04/03/12 Anthony Radkiewicz reported a burglary at his home. A door on the north side of the home was damaged and several items were stolen from the home.
