In this case, injuries could have been more severe and I am glad that they were not. This is a good reminder for both drivers and bicyclists to be more observant of each other. Drivers need to check all directions and be prepared for pedestrians or bicyclists to pull out from between vehicles, in the middle of the block, or dart out at an intersection. Be careful, drive slow and safe and be prepared for anything at all times. School is back in session. Children and bicyclists need to obey safety rules of the road as well.
