7/4/16 – A patron at the Time Out Bar advised she was assaulted by at least five women as she was trying to leave.
7/4/16 – A resident in the 7700 block of north Kickapoo Road in Walkerton advised someone blew up his mailbox the previous night.
7/4/16 – A resident in the 6000 block of S. SR 10 in Knox reported damage to his boat caused by fireworks the previous night.
7/4/16 – The owner of Preferred Flooring in Toto reported a man in a black pickup truck with Illinois license plates was dumping trash into his dumpster. When confronted, the man removed one bag, said he was an officer in Illinois and left traveling eastbound on Toto Road.
7/4/16 – A resident in the 3800 block of South CR 210 in Knox reported a paddle boat stolen.
7/4/16 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, North Judson Police Department, Starke County EMS and North Judson-Wayne Township First Responders all responded to an accident with injuries on 450 South east of State Road 39 in North Judson.
7/5/16 – A resident in the 2300 block of west U Road East in North Judson reported someone setting off firecrackers underneath her bedroom window and advised they woke the baby.
7/5/16 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Starke County EMS and Bass Lake Fire Department First Responders all responded to a motorcycle accident in front of Bass Lake Beach and Campground on State Road 10 in Knox.
7/5/16 – A resident in the 3100 block of south 900 West in San Pierre reported being threatened by a neighbor.
7/5/16 – Items were reported stolen from a residence in the 11900 block of East State Road 8 in Culver sometime between July 1 and now.
7/6/16 – A resident in the 5000 block of east 200 South reported his 2008 red Ford Focus stolen.
7/6/16 – A resident in the 2700 block of south 725 West in North Judson reported the theft of a power washer and rotor tiller. They were later recovered at the North Judson home of a suspect.
7/6/16 – A resident in the 7800 block of Tecumseh Road in Walkerton reported a strong odor of marijuana coming from a nearby residence.
7/6/16 – A resident in the 200 block of north Broadway Street in San Pierre reported her garbage can stolen from her residence.
7/6/16 – A resident in the 5800 block of east Manor Drive in Knox reported someone broke into the campground and took $200 and cigarettes.
7/6/16 – A Bass Lake resident reported his parents received a fraudulent call stating someone needed bail money.
7/6/16 – A resident in the 400 block of south 700 East in Knox reported two men walking southbound with a flashlight and looking into mailboxes.
7/7/16 – Trespassers reportedly left a tent and beer bottle on property on Range Road north of 450 South in North Judson, across from Joey’s Wallpaper.
7/7/16 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Hamlet Police Department, Starke County EMS and Hamlet Fire Department First Responders all responded to a vehicle versus guardrail accident on the eastbound overpass at the intersection of U.S. 30 and U.S. 35.
7/7/16 – A resident in the area of 850 North and 750 West on the Starke/Pulaski County line advised her pet pig, Bacon, has gotten loose. She says Bacon is white and very friendly and asked to be called if anyone finds Bacon.
7/7/16 – A Bass Lake resident advised she received a scam telephone call from someone claiming to be her grandson, stranded in Cleveland and needing $200 in gas money. She hung up and called her grandson, who was just getting off work.
7/7/16 – A resident in the 1600 block of north 700 East in Knox found a one-pot meth lab in the front yard.
7/8/16 – The owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado parked at the rest park on State Road 10 at 250 West in North Judson returned to the truck and found all four tires flattened.
7/8/16 – A deputy responded to a report of a car in a ditch on 600 East north of 300 North in Grovertown.
7/8/16 – A traffic accident with minor injuries was reported in the 10200 block of east 600 North in Grovertown.
7/9/16 – A resident in the 8000 block of Wakew Lane in Koontz Lake advised someone is beating on the side of her house and on her door.
7/9/16 – A resident in the 2500 block of north 1100 East in Grovertown reported a moped wrecked and left in his woods.
7/9/16 – A resident in the 7900 block of Frost Street in Walkerton reported damage to his fence.
7/9/16 – Officers responded to a report of a fight in the 1700 block of east 400 South in Knox.
7/10/16 – A driver and passenger reported being flagged down by a man on State Road 39 near State Road 8. As they were slowing down, they said two other men ran across the road as if to get into their vehicle.
7/10/16 – A man reported his 12-year-old daughter was sexually abused by family members. The matter is still under investigation.
7/10/16 – A resident in the 2000 block of North Tribue Drive in Knox reported a license plate stolen from a vehicle.
7/10/16 – The owner of property at the intersection of 700 East and 200 South in Knox reported finding two juveniles on a three-wheeler near his farm buildings and advised they took off when he pulled into his driveway.
