Pulaski County Election Board Scheduled to Investigate Potential Absentee Voting Site

The Pulaski County Election Board is holding a work session this Wednesday to investigate the suitability of a site for potential in-person absentee voting.

At 11 a.m. ET the board will meet in the Pulaski County Clerk’s office at 112 East Main Street in Winamac. The group will move to the Justice Center for the investigation and then return to the Clerk’s office for investigation. If you have any questions, contact the County Clerk’s Office at 574-946-4953.

This is the first day for prospective General Election voters to cast absentee ballots. Registered Starke County voters may do so on the second floor of the courthouse weekdays from 8 a.m. until noon and from 1 until 4 p.m. Please be sure to bring a government-issued photo ID. Today is the last chance to vote early before tomorrow’s primary election. For Starke County residents, in-person absentee voting takes place in the County Courthouse in Knox from 8 a.m. until noon. In Pulaski County, voters can cast their ballots today from 9:30 to noon at the Pulaski County Public Library. Absentee Voting Continues Ahead of May Primary

 
 

Starke and Pulaski counties continue to see good voter turnout during early primary voting. Since absentee voting for next month’s primary began on April 5, Starke County’s had 169 voters cast ballots in person, while 122 have voted by mail. Absentee ballots are also adding up in Pulaski County, where 139 people have voted in person and 29 have voted by mail, as of Friday afternoon. Today is Last Day to Vote Absentee

 
 

Today is the last chance to vote absentee in the City of Knox Primary Municipal Election.

An absentee ballot may be cast in the second-floor meeting room in the Starke County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to noon today. As of Friday, 332 in-office, mail-in and travel board absentee ballots have been cast.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT tomorrow at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center in Knox for all eligible voters.
