A Wednesday traffic stop at the intersection of Lake and McGill Streets in downtown Knox ended with a trip to jail thanks to assistance from Starke County’s new K-9. A deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by David P. Howard, 31, because he was known not to have a valid driver’s license. Two people were arrested in Marshall County after a search warrant was conducted Wednesday at a home in the 20,000 block of 8th Road.
Marshall County Police Department Patrol Division officers and K9 Arras assisted Indiana parole officers on a parole visit at the home. When officers arrived at the scene, it appeared that no one was home but items pertaining to the manufacture of methamphetamine could be seen in plain view.
