An Oregon-Davis graduate recently received the state of Indiana “Student Teacher of the Year” award at the Indiana Council for Exceptional Children Conference held in Indianapolis. On Wednesday, Feb. 21, Karly Keiper – now a senior at Butler University studying elementary education – was given the award by the CEC, an international professional association dedicated to improving the educational success of children with disabilities, gifts, or talents.
Culver Academy Graduate Tries out for Indianapolis 500 Queen
Every year, 33 Indianapolis 500 Princesses and one Queen are announced before the race weekend. Riley Hoffman of Greenwood, an Indiana University sophomore, is the 500 Queen. In all, there were 278 applicants from 24 cities and 11 Indiana colleges and Universities. Continue reading
