Pulaski County Sees Legacy Quilt Approved for Bicentennial Celebration
Pulaski County saw its Legacy Project approved prior to celebrating Indiana’s 200th year in existence.
Approval follows a meeting of the Indiana Bicentennial Commission in Lake County on September 18th. The commission is made up of 15 members and looks to execute the statewide celebration of Indiana’s birthday.
Student Achievements Showcased at Spring Celebration
The Crossing has only been operating for about one year, but according to their students, there have been some major accomplishments.
A spring celebration was held in Knox at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center on Thursday night. The gathering allows the alternative education school to showcase what students have been working to accomplish in their academic and personal lives.

The City of Knox will once again be hosting the National Day of Prayer Breakfast.
The annual gathering at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center will bring churches, organizations, and businesses together on May 7th. The breakfast and national celebration is typically used as a day to reflect on the direction of the United States. This will be the 64th year the National Day of Prayer will be celebrated.
