Democrat Alicia Collins beat incumbent Republican Donna Henry by a six-point margin, while incumbent North Judson Council President Wendy Hoppe fended off a challenge from Democrat Joan Haugh to hold onto her seat. Meet the Candidates in the Hamlet Town Board Ward 2 Race
Today our 2011 Campaign Spotlight turns to a Board race in Hamlet. The candidates are Democrat Dean Goble and Republican Dave Kesvormas.
Dean Goble is a lifelong resident of Hamlet. He attended schools in the Oregon-Davis School system. He is married and has 3 children and 4 stepchildren, and is a painter working out of Union Local 460 in Merrillville.
Hamlet Democrat Caucus Held Last Night
The Hamlet Democrat Caucus was held last night, and Dean Goble, and Frank Lonigro, Junior won the two town council nominations.
Dean Goble defeated Kerry Stone, 22-14; and Frank Lonigtro, Jr. beat Bob Yung, 26-14.
