N.J.-S.P. Board Approves 2016-2017 Calendar
The North Judson-San Pierre School Board approved the corporation’s 2016-2017 School Calendar Tuesday. Interim Superintendent Bob Boyd said there are no major changes from this year’s calendar. West Central Students Participating in FFA Week
West Central FFA students are getting in the spirit of educating others about FFA.
FFA Leader Shaw Haselby told WKVI News that the students have been participating in spirit days. Today is Denim Day while tomorrow the students will be driving their tractors to school. Friday is Cowboy/Western Day.
Haselby says FFA is vital in giving students information about agriculture, but also public speaking, leadership skills, and other experiences to promote agriculture.
Oregon-Davis FFA Members Advance to State Competition
Members of the Oregon-Davis Future Farmers of America chapter are heading to state next month. All eight students who took part in the Area X Crops Judging/Forestry/Entomology CDE at at Plymouth High School on Monday qualified to advance to the state-level competition at Purdue on Saturday, Dec. 13.
