The Pulaski County Commissioners have provided a letter of support for a project upgrading Pulaski Memorial Hospital.
Officials have already sought special financing from the county to help pay for certain upgrades in the form of a storage facility and upgrades to the parking lot. This is only one part of the project, according to discussion during Monday night’s Commissioner’s meeting.
Pulaski Memorial Hospital has taken steps to finance upgrades to its facilities.
Plans call for the expansion of the Rural Health Clinic and the replacement of the Specialist Clinic building. Officials with the hospital presented their plans to the Pulaski County Commissioners on Monday night.

The United States Department of Agriculture is giving itself a pat on the back discussing programs available to rural residents in Indiana.
It may be winter, but Purdue Extension in Starke and Pulaski Counties is encouraging local farmers to prepare for changes in the price of commodities.
A workshop is being held on January 19th at the Bass Lake Community Center that hopes to detail how farmers may avoid financial difficulty over the next five years.
