A new home may finally be coming to a vacant lot in Hamlet. For months, the town council has been trying to get a home built on a piece of town-owned land at Lincoln and Pearl streets. Last week, council members agreed to sell the lot to Finish Line Construction. The company plans to build a 1,700-square-foot, three-bedroom home in the next six to nine months.
