Interference from other antennas on top of the grain elevator at the Starke County Co-Op in Hamlet has been creating problems for the Koontz Lake Volunteer Fire Department for the past couple of years. WoodStarke Planning Continues
Plans are moving ahead for the third annual WoodStarke festival. Visitors to this September’s event in Wythogan Park in Knox can expect to see several musical acts and various types of artwork, including woodcarving, photography, and painting. Starke County Hires New Emergency Management Director
A Knox High School graduate is the new Starke County Emergency Management Agency director. The county commissioners last night hired Jacob Lippner to fill the vacancy created by Ted Bombagetti’s recent resignation to take a state position.
