Sheriff’s deputies attempting to serve a felony warrant at a residence in Monterey made two arrests after finding a meth lab. Starke County Sheriff’s Deputies were looking for Bradley Hartwell at a Hazel Street residence and found two men coming out the back door of the trailer when they arrived. Brutal Battery Under Investigation In Pulaski County
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a brutal battery incident that occurred Saturday night.
Officers and the Pulaski County EMS were called to a residence on State Road 14 in Winamac after a woman had called requesting medical attention. She said her ex-boyfriend, James Penicaro, held her against her will for two hours. When emergency personnel arrived on scene, they found the woman severely beaten with injuries to her face and head and other minor injuries to the rest of her body.
Two Winamac Residents Arrested after Traffic Stop, Attempted Escape Incident
Officers from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department arrested two after a traffic stop and one tried to escape police custody after being admitted to the hospital after being tased.
Early Sunday morning, officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on State Road 119 in Winamac but the driver of the vehicle refused to stop and was traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver eventually drove into a driveway on Washington Street and the driver and the passenger were ordered out of the vehicle. When officers conducted a search, they allegedly found bath salts in Adam Koske’s possession. The driver, James Penicaro, was allegedly found to be intoxicated.
