The final day to sign up for the Holiday Decorating Contest in the City of Knox will be Monday, December 10th.
In order to get signed up all you have to do is call the Mayor’s Office and provide your name and address, then you’ll be added to the list of homes that will be judged. You can call during business hours or leave a message with all necessary information on the Mayor’s voicemail.

Judging for the annual Christmas decoration contest in Knox is on Wednesday, Dec. 17. Judging will take place between 6 and 9 p.m. CT. Outdoor decorations should be lit when judging takes place in order to be eligible for the contest. Continue reading
From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight, the committee members will travel around the city of Knox and judge all outdoor decorations. Make sure you have all lighted displays turned on in order to be part of the contest. The first place winner will receive $100, second place will win $50 and third place will get $25.
