Knox School Board Members Sworn into Office, More Students Return for In-Person Learning

The Knox School Board welcomed its two newest members, as more students returned for in-person learning. Newly-elected board members Mike Lord and Autumn Ferch took their oaths of office during Tuesday’s meeting, along with reelected members Kirk Bennett and Wendy McIntire.

Outgoing Pulaski County Officials, Knox School Board Members Recognized

The end of 2020 means the end of the terms of several long-serving elected officials who did not seek reelection. Jay Sullivan leaves the Pulaski County Council after 20 years in office, several of those as council president. He took time during his final meeting to thank the county’s citizens for giving him the honor of serving them.

Knox School Board Holds Off on Decision on Middle School Message Board

More electronic signs may be coming to the Knox Community Schools campus. Back in March, the school corporation installed a message board at the corner of Main Street and Redskin Trail. Now, the Knox Board of Works has agreed to let the middle school add its own sign in the city’s right of way along Main Street.
