N.J.-S.P. School Board Agrees to Let Extra Elementary Project Money Be Used for Bus Garage

The North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation will be able to tackle some extra work, after bids for the elementary school project came in significantly lower than expected. The school board recently agreed to let the project bond proceeds be used for the bus garage, as well as a few more items at the elementary school, according to Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin.

Knox Schools Building Project Ahead of Schedule

Superintendent Reichhart discusses construction taking place at Knox High School

The building additions to Knox Elementary and High schools continue to take shape. Crews were busy working on the elementary school’s new third and fourth grade wing, as School Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart gave a tour last week. “This is really far along,” he noted. “We’ve got drywall on. We’re painting.”

Knox School Board Holds Off on Decision on Middle School Message Board

More electronic signs may be coming to the Knox Community Schools campus. Back in March, the school corporation installed a message board at the corner of Main Street and Redskin Trail. Now, the Knox Board of Works has agreed to let the middle school add its own sign in the city’s right of way along Main Street.
