2019 Starke County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Applications Now Available

Senior students who may be stressing out about how to pay for college will be happy to learn that applications are now available for the Starke County Community Foundation’s Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.

Community Foundation officials say that in order to be eligible for this 4-year full-tuition scholarship, applicants have to currently reside in Starke County. They also need to be a high school senior on track to graduate with a diploma from an accredited Indiana high school by the end of June 2019. Continue reading

Starke County Community Foundation Announces Lilly Endowment Scholarship Finalists

Nearly 30 students applied for the 2018 Starke County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship and recently, the Starke County Community Foundation announced the five students who were chosen as finalists.

Seniors from Knox High Community School, Culver Community High School and North Judson-San Pierre High School are in the running to receive the scholarship.

The student chosen from Culver was Cody Rieckhoff who plans to study criminal justice. The North Judson-San Pierre finalist is Ashley Rearden who wants to go into business management. Three finalists are from Knox Community High School and they are Elizabeth McEntee, who plans to study neuro-biology, Cassandra Waletzko, who is considering concentrations in biology and forensic science and Daniel Darda who plans to study animation. Lilly Endowment Community Scholars Announced

 

Students from North Judson-San Pierre and Winamac Community high schools are recipients of the 2016 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship. Kyle Collins was nominated by the Community Foundation of Pulaski County, while Nicholas Sierzputowski was the Starke County Community Foundation’s nominee. Each of them will receive a four-year, full tuition scholarship to the Indiana College of their choice, as well as a $900 yearly stipend for books and equipment. Pulaski County Community Foundation Announces 2013 Lilly Endowment Scholar

 
 

The Pulaski County Community Foundation has announced the recipient of their full-tuition, four-year Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship for 2013. David Putt, a Pulaski County student, will receive full tuition to his choice of Indiana college as well as a $900 yearly stipend for required books and equipment.

The son of Michael and Donna Putt from Francesville, Putt will graduate from West Central High School in June. Putt has been very involved in school activities such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FFA, Student Council, Business Professionals of America, Band, and Drama, and has enjoyed working as a farmhand assistant and volunteering at church, park clean-ups, landscaping projects, food pantries, and singing at the local nursing home. He has also received several honors and awards including the George Eastman Young Leaders award, the Mathematics Outstanding Achievement for Excellence award, and three Highest Class GPA awards.

Pulaski County Community Foundation Taking Applications for Lilly Endowment Scholarships

The Pulaski County Community Foundation is participating in the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship program. The program provides scholarships for full college tuition for four years, required fees and book stipends. Applications are available now through the Foundation’s website. The deadline to submit an application is January 10th, 2011.
