The Francesville Fall Festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary this weekend. The parade steps off at 2:00 this afternoon, and the Nightshift Band will take the stage at 4:30.

Rides, music, food, and plenty of 4-H activities will be featured, as the Starke County Fair continues through Saturday. Today’s highlights include the 4-H Club Parade at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Opening Ceremonies at 6:15. Classic Vinyl will take the stage at 8:00 p.m. with music from the ’50s and ’60s.
Organizers Reveal Plans for 2016 Yellowstone Trail Fest
Hamlet’s Yellowstone Trail Fest may still be over six months away, but organizers have already announced some of their plans for this year’s event. They say the festival will focus on the 1920s this year, and will also commemorate the Indiana Bicentennial as well as the centennial of the National Parks Service. Continue reading
