
The Town of North Judson has decided to postpone tonight’s town council meeting, following the death of Town Marshal Doug Vessely late last week. Clerk-Treasurer Alicia Collins says the meeting has been moved to Thursday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m.

The Town of North Judson has chosen an engineering firm for its water tower rehabilitation project. A committee of town officials, along with a representative from the Kankakee-Iroquois Regional Planning Commission, interviewed three potential contractors and chose Commonwealth Engineers. The town of North Judson is already taking most of the risk control measures recommended by their insurance company. That list includes annual employee motor vehicle road reviews, performing a documented fire safety inspection at all county-owned buildings and documenting all sewer maintenance.
