The Town of North Judson has decided to postpone tonight’s town council meeting, following the death of Town Marshal Doug Vessely late last week. Clerk-Treasurer Alicia Collins says the meeting has been moved to Thursday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m.

The Town of North Judson is looking into the addition of a new community center. Resident Bill Crase brought up the possibility of getting grant funding for a new community center during Monday’s town council meeting. He was previously involved in getting a grant for the town’s volunteer fire department. The town of North Judson is already taking most of the risk control measures recommended by their insurance company. That list includes annual employee motor vehicle road reviews, performing a documented fire safety inspection at all county-owned buildings and documenting all sewer maintenance.
