Because the salt shed construction for the town of North Judson has been delayed, Clerk-Treasurer Donna Henry said the town board this week was forced to encumber the funds allocated to the project to allow the construction to take place in January. She said a shortage in crew members caused the project to be delayed until Jan. 14.
The North Judson salt shed construction has been put on hold, according to Clerk-Treasurer Donna Henry, who told WKVI that Town Superintendent Marshall Horstmann received a notice from ClearSpan informing him of the delay. Henry said ClearSpan is constructing the structure for the shed, but due to a shortage of crew members, the work must be postponed.
