The North Judson San-Pierre School Board will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in the school corporation’s administrative office.
Items up for discussion and action include a donation from Farm Bureau, the approval of certified handbook modifications and amendments to the non-certified handbook. The approval of the teachers’ master contract and approval of advertising the tax anticipation warrant are also on the agenda for tonight.
Board members will also receive some information about the Wonder Kind Project when they meet this evening.
The Indiana Department of Education does an annual student count in schools and their findings are used to determine state funding. When the average daily membership count took place at North Judson-San Pierre on Friday, September 15th, the ADM count was 1,031 students. Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin said that for the first time in about 10 years, the school corporation saw an increase in their enrollment figures. 
North Judson-San Pierre School Board members approved the school improvement plan from the Elementary and Jr./Sr High School principals after they provided compelling presentations addressing areas of achievement as well as specific place where progress is needed. 
The Blue Jay Strategic Planning Group is searching for new members to join their organization that serves as a link between the school corporation and the community. The group meets once a month in order to set goals that seem pertinent to parents, residents and school faculty. 
The North Judson-San Pierre School Board of Trustees meets tonight at 7 p.m. [CST]. The Board is seeking approval to advertise the 2018-2020 Capital Projects & Bus Replacement Plan and to submit the proposed 2018 NJ-SP School Corporation Budget to the Starke County Council. 
The Railroad Township Advisory Board will meet again tomorrow (Thursday) night to appoint a North Judson-San Pierre School Board member.
