The Town of Medaryville may soon be upgrading some of the equipment at its wastewater treatment lagoon. Clerk-Treasurer Judy Harwood says the town council discussed the possibility of repairing a generator and replacing a flow meter, during last week’s meeting. She says that town officials haven’t gotten cost estimates yet, but they believe buying a new flow meter could cost $3,000.

Pulaski County Commissioners, Council Discuss Airport Concerns
The Pulaski County Commissioners and Pulaski County Council members met in joint session to clarify some questions that have arisen concerning the airport.
The issues that the council members discussed during their meeting last week was if Airport Manager Bud Wagner’s position with the county needs to be full time and about the revenue coming into the airport.
Pulaski County EMS Still Waiting to use Repaired Ambulance
A fire-damaged ambulance that has been rebuilt and brought back is still not an active part of the EMS fleet in Pulaski County.
Jason Bunger from Novotny Insurance and EMS Director Nikki Lowry told the commissioners that the state is holding up the process.
Pulaski Commissioners Delay Insurance Bid Opening
The Pulaski County Commissioners this week passed a motion to postpone the opening of liability insurance bids after Barb Whitaker with Novotny Insurance approached the commissioners and stated that she was unaware they were accepting bids. She requested they postpone the bid opening to allow her to put together two bid proposals, and said there was some confusion because the county did not submit bid specs to be used in the bidding process.
