A Plymouth man faces a pair of felony offenses in Starke County following the recent robbery and beating of an elderly Knox man. An officer from the Starke County Sheriff’s Office was called to the IU Health Starke Hospital emergency room Wednesday, Oct. 7 after Sisco Wireman was brought in after an apparent assault. Trespassers Arrested After Fleeing from Police
A pair of Bremen break-in suspects face numerous felony charges in Marshall County after leading police from multiple agencies on a high-speed chase this morning. The caretaker of a vacant residence in the 400 block of Kenilworth Road in Bremen found a man and woman sleeping in the upstairs bedroom, went outside and called the police. She tried to block their SUV to keep them from leaving until officers arrived. She told police the man pulled a gun on her before he sped off through an adjacent field. Continue reading
Multiple Injuries Reported in Plymouth Crash
A wreck last night in front of the Tri-Way Drive-In Movie Theatre in the 4000 block of Michigan Rd. in Plymouth resulted in multiple injuries, according to police. The extend of the injuries is not know, according to our reporting partners at WNDU-TV. Dispatchers received the first 911 call just after 10 p.m.
Plymouth warrant search yields multiple meth labs, four arrests
Four people are jailed in Marshall County after police there reportedly found multiple active meth labs and other evidence of drug activity at a Plymouth home. Plymouth and Marshall County Police accompanied by Indiana State Police Troopers executed a search warrant at a home in the 1,000 block of North Plum Street last night and arrested three women and a man. Members of the ISP Clandestine Lab Team spent several hours there cleaning up bags of trash labs and materials used in the manufacture of meth. Authorities say details will be released later today.
Cops nab Wal-Mart shoplifter
A Tyner woman faces theft charges after police say she tried to leave the Plymouth Wal-Mart without paying for a cart full of groceries. Plymouth Police responded to the store around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon after loss prevention officers detained Cathy Paschen, 59, of Tyner. She’s due in court on March 12.
Two Arrested On Theft Charges At Walmart
Two Hamlet residents were arrested Tuesday after an altercation in a parking lot by Walmart in Plymouth.
Plymouth police officers responded to the area after dispatchers learned that Jeffrey Gibson had pulled an alleged stolen item out of his pants. The woman with him, Kayla Thompson, reportedly returned the item.
The pair were taken to the Marshall County Jail for a preliminary charge of Theft and Gibson has an additional charge of Disorderly Conduct.
Plymouth Police Bust Meth Lab, Four Arrested
Four Plymouth residents were arrested after police learned of a possible methamphetamine lab operation at 400 W. Washington St. in Plymouth.
Police say that three officers approached the home at 11 a.m. on Monday and, upon arrival, detained four individuals. They obtained permission to search the apartment, and soon found several items associated with manufacturing, dealing, and using methamphetamine. Three bottle labs were also found, one of which was active, and the Indiana State Police Crime Lab team was called to dismantle the labs.
Jason Joseph, 27; Justin Keller, 28; Sara Johnson, 22; and Robin Chese-Barnett, 26 were arrested and face charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine, Precursors, and Paraphernalia.
Three Theft Arrests Reported In Plymouth
Plymouth police officers arrested three people for theft on Tuesday in three different incidents.
Matthew S. Bradley of Knox was arrested after Dollar General employees reported a theft at the store. The employees gave police a description of his vehicle and the vehicle was found in the Walgreens parking lot. The officer reportedly found a knife and packaging next to him in the vehicle. Bradley was arrested on a preliminary charge of Theft.
Two Arrested By Plymouth Police This Week
Officers from the Plymouth Police Department were called to The Mayflower on Wednesday after a suspicious vehicle was spotted in the parking lot.
When the officers arrived on scene, two men were in a red pickup truck that reportedly had been parked there for two hours. Upon further investigation, Bryan T. Miller, 30, of Plymouth was arrested on a preliminary charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
Plymouth Police Make Several Theft Arrests
A Grovertown woman was arrested Thursday after a shoplifting incident in Plymouth.
Plymouth police were called to Martins Supermarket on a report of theft. During a search of 35-year-old Sara Hopkins, she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. She was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was given a $1,500 bond.
Plymouth Man Arrested Following Hit And Run
A Plymouth man was arrested after an accident Saturday night.
Plymouth police officers responded to a call in the area of Madison and Broadway Streets in Plymouth and spoke to Sara Johnson, 22 of Plymouth, who told police that she had been struck by a vehicle and the vehicle left the scene. She sustained an injury to her right side, but refused medical treatment at the scene.
Police found the vehicle suspected of leaving the scene of an accident on Harrison Street. The driver, Billy Bates, 54 of Plymouth, was arrested on preliminary charges of Criminal Recklessness and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.
Police Arrest Knox Man after Brief Foot Pursuit
A Knox man was arrested, Thursday, after Plymouth and Starke County police officers searched for him as a suspect in an auto theft incident.
Officers went to 1175 E. 850 S. in Starke County where a stolen car was reported as abandoned in a field at that intersection. Police located the vehicle and found that it had been stolen from Goshen. Officers went to a nearby residence to attempt to locate the suspect and when they first approached the residence, officers spoke to the homeowner, who identified himself as Terry Jordan, who denied the suspect was there. Officers left the residence and were able to obtain a BMV photo of the male at the residence and found that it was not Terry Jordan, but another male whose name is not being released at this time due to an ongoing investigation. The male who was there has an outstanding warrant out of Marshall County.
