Plymouth Police Arrest Man on Domestic Battery Charges

A Plymouth man was arrested on Domestic Battery charges after an altercation Sunday night in Plymouth.

Plymouth police were called to 215 1/2 W. Adams Street in Plymouth after a domestic fight was reported. The officer arrived and found a woman in the apartment who had been battered. After further investigation, Robert W. Warner, 31, was arrested on preliminary charges of Domestic Battery and Resisting Law Enforcement.

Plymouth Police Arrest Man Twice in One Day

The Marshall County Jail staff booked in the same person twice in one day.

On Monday, Plymouth police were called to Dollar Tree after a caller reported seeing a man, later identified as 39-year-old Seth Enders, of Plymouth, going through a car and removing items. The officer found Enders and after a pat-down search, found drug and paraphernalia in his possession. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substances and Possession of Marijuana. His bond was set at $3,000.

Three Arrested for Theft from Walmart in Plymouth

Three Starke County residents were arrested on theft charges after two separate incidents.

On Monday, Plymouth Police officers were notified that Jacob D. Fier and Michael J. Hardel, of Knox, were allegedly shoplifting while in Walmart. They were going to flee the scene, but the pair went back into the store. They have preliminary charges of Theft and were incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail.

Plymouth Man Arrested for Neglect of a Dependent

A Plymouth man was arrested on Wednesday after police found that he was neglecting a disabled female for which he was reportedly supposed to be caring.

Plymouth Police Department officials received a phone call that a disabled woman was being neglected by her caregiver, Darrel Scheuer. Officers from the Plymouth Police Department and Adult Protective Services went to Scheuer’s residence on March 21st, picked him up and they took him to the woman’s house in the 300 block of North Street in Plymouth. Scheuer was permitted entry to check on the woman and she was found lying on the floor. She told officials that she needed immediate medical treatment and she had been on the floor for approximately 30 days. She was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Arson Suspected in Plymouth Fire

Arson is suspected in a fire that began Saturday at the Liberty Street Depot in Plymouth. A reward is now being offered by the International Association of Arson Investigators for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the fire.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the I.A.A.I. People can call in information to 1-800-382-4628. Firefighters say they believe the fire started on the west side of the building in the electrical room, but the electric has been shut off to the building for a year.

Plymouth Police Department Busy with Theft Investigations

The Plymouth Police Department has investigated several theft cases recently from Walmart. There is usually one or two arrests a week about that involve shoplifters in the chain store.

Plymouth police officers received a call Monday night concerning a shoplifter from a different location – Martin’s Supermarket in Plymouth. Sean McNab, 19, of Plymouth, was arrested on a preliminary charge of Theft. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Plymouth Woman Crashes into Fire House

A Plymouth woman was arrested Saturday after leaving the scene of an accident.

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department were called to the Plymouth Fire Station in reference to an accident. According to police, a red Jeep had struck the Plymouth Fire Station and two people fled the scene on foot at about 2:35 a.m. ET. Police learned that one possible suspect lived in the Plymouth area.

Three Culver Residents Arrested on Drug Charges

Three men from Culver were arrested in Plymouth Monday night on drug charges.

An officer from the Plymouth Police Department pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of Michigan and Diamond Streets and the officer took K9 Rex around the vehicle. The K9 indicated the presence of narcotics and in a search of the occupants and the vehicle, the officer found heroin, marijuana and several items of paraphernalia.

Two Knox Residents Arrested after Theft Incident at Plymouth Walmart

Two Knox residents were arrested after they were allegedly caught stealing from Walmart in Plymouth Monday night.

Plymouth police were called to Walmart after Loss Prevention Officers found Sasha Glover and Colleen Henry trying to remove merchandise without paying. Glover was detained without incident, but Henry, who told police her name was Kelley Halt, fled from the scene. She ran toward the Bob Evans restaurant before police took her into custody. When she decided to flee, she left her four-year-old son unattended. Walmart employees tended to his safety.

Plymouth Man Arrested on Warrant

A Plymouth man was arrested Friday on an arrest warrant for drugs.

On January 12th, Chief Jim Cox, Detective Sergeant Leo Mangus and Investigator Ted Brown from the Plymouth Police Department were at a residence in the 17000 block of Lincoln Highway in Plymouth in regards to a theft call. During the investigation, Stewart Hummel, 33, was observed attempting to hide a methamphetamine lab in the garage. He then ran from the residence and police could not locate Hummel.

Accident West of Plymouth Claims Life of Starke County Man

A Knox man was killed in a single vehicle car accident last night.

Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger said that 28-year-old Richard Lee Dennis was traveling westbound on 9th Road, just east of Quince Road when he encountered a set of railroad tracks. Cleavenger said it appeared that he didn’t slow or stop at the railroad tracks and went over the incline and over the tracks at a high rate of speed. The road conditions were slick at time and Dennis reportedly lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. He was killed upon impact. Emergency personnel extricated his body from the vehicle and cleared the scene. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Plymouth Police Department were assisted by the Indiana State Police Reconstruction Team.

Toxicology results are pending.

Plymouth Man Arrested after Pursuit

Plymouth Police Department officers arrested a man after a pursuit incident Monday evening.

A Plymouth Police officer attempted a traffic stop and the vehicle peeled down an alley along Kenwood Ave. Police said that the vehicle continued at a high rate of speed through Westgate and onto State Road 17. The pursuit ended on Redwood and 9th Streets when the driver bailed out of the car and ran into a field and wooded area.

Plymouth Police Department Investigates Business Burglaries

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department are investigating burglaries that occurred at the Remembrance Center and New Attitudes Hair Salon on North Michigan Street in Plymouth. Police say that unknown suspect(s) had made forced entry into the two businesses in the overnight hours of November 18th and removed a large television and an undisclosed amount of money. These two businesses had also been burglarized on November 9th. Anyone with information regarding these burglaries should contact the Plymouth Police Department at (574) 936-2126.

Plymouth Police Investigate Vandalism at St. Michael’s School

They can’t keep the basketball backboards from being shattered at St. Michael’s School in Plymouth. Police have been called to the school three times. On June 5th, a subject called to report that two juveniles were throwing rocks and had shattered the backboard. The backboard was fixed, but on June 24th, another one was shattered.

Plymouth Man Arrested after Eluding Police by Swimming in River

A Plymouth man was arrested Wednesday evening after an officer showed up at his apartment to conduct a probation check and he attempted to escape police.

Police say an officer was dispatched to a residence at 301 E. Garro street in Plymouth after probation requested to check the subject to see if he had been drinking.

Once police arrived, Brandon Borem, 21, jumped out of his bathroom window then swam across the river.

After he got out of the water, police arrested Borem for Public Intoxication.

Meth Lab Explosion in Plymouth Injures Two

Two residents were injured after a meth lab explosion in Plymouth early Sunday morning.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, Plymouth Police and Fire were dispatched to 707 Pearl Street in Plymouth at 4:00 a.m. ET on Sunday, March 13th in reference to an explosion. A search warrant was executed at the residence where remains of a meth lab were located. Police learned that Dawn Brauneker was dumped at the Plymouth Emergency Room and was severely burned. A second victim, Glenn Linderman, was located later that morning. Both victims were taken to the Fort Wayne Burn Unit.

A suspect in the incident, Scott Davis, was taken into custody and has a preliminary charge of Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Plymouth Man Arrested on Burglary Charges

A suspect in a burglary at People’s Drug Store in Plymouth has been apprehended.

Plymouth Police Department officers report that Adam Lolmaugh, 32, of Plymouth, was arrested Wednesday after police received information that he was the one responsible for the burglary. The incident happened on February 16th.

Lolmaugh was at his home when police took him into custody. Police interviewed Lolmaugh and he confessed to the burglary. He was then booked in the Marshall County Jail on one count of Burglary.
