Today is the last day of the Pulaski County 4-H Fair.
The County Official Breakfast is today from 7 to 8 a.m., the Ultimate Showman Contest is at 10 a.m., the 4-H and open class exhibits will be released at 4 p.m. and the 4-H Auction will begin at 6 p.m. ET. The auction order will be sheep, goats, rabbits, poultry, swine, then cattle.
The Starke County 4-H Fair will officially begin Monday, July 16.

Don’t miss the Pedal Tractor Pull at 1 p.m. ET, the 4-H Olympics at 2 p.m., the talent show at 5 p.m., and the fireworks show at dusk.
The 4-H Fair continues through Friday, July 6 and it is located in the Winamac Town Park.
The Pulaski County 4-H Fair is underway!
More 4-H entries are coming in today and open class exhibits are expected as well. The 4-H Recognition Program is set for 3 p.m. ET today and Earth Day activities are scheduled for 3-7 p.m. ET. The truck and tractor pull gets underway at 6 p.m. tonight. Admission is $7, but children under the age of six get in free.
Tomorrow, the Fair Association’s Hog Roast is at 10:30 a.m., the bed race begins at 2 p.m. and the Miss Pulaski County Pageant is at 8 p.m.

Several 4-H entries are due at the fairgrounds throughout the day and commercial exhibits and vendors will be moving into the fairgrounds today.
The Garden Tractor Pull begins tonight at 6 p.m. ET.
Under almost ideal conditions, the 2011 Pualski County 4-H Fair Parade was held last night in Winamac.
“The most exciting thing in 4-H is not the projects or winning a trophy, it’s meeting other people and stepping out and showing other people what you can do and what your talents are,” said 4-H Achievement Royalty winner, Erica Putt.
“I’m in Junior Leaders and we take a lot of trips and meet a lot of people and I’m also a Camp Counselor so I can be a model for younger children,” said Veronica Leman, also a part of this year’s 4-H Royalty. “I also won Showman last year which is also a very big accomplishment.” Continue reading
The Pulaski County Health Department will be handing out free mosquito wipes today at the Pulaski County 4-H Fair.
The Health Department will also hand out free hand sanitizer, Frisbees and soccer balls, along with a wide variety of educational materials. Visit their booth at the Fair for these free items.
The Pulaski County 4-H Fair begins today. Most of the 4-H projects will be entered today. Vendors will also be moving in for the week-long event.
At 5:30 p.m. ET this evening, there will be a 4-H Class Tractor Pull on the pull strip and then at 7:00 p.m. ET, a Truck and Tractor Pull will be featured on the pull strip.
