A Carmel man was arrested Thursday, after he allegedly led police on a chase through three counties on U.S. 30. Police say it began around 1:45 p.m. in Marshall County, when a patrolman tried to pull over a car near Tulip Road.
LaPorte County Driver Injured, After Reportedly Leading Officers on High-Speed Chase
A rural LaPorte County resident allegedly led police on a high-speed chase, before apparently crashing the car and suffering serious injuries. Culver Traffic Stop Leads to Officer Struggle, Vehicle Pursuit
Culver Police identified a suspect that led to an arrest after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of a few items believed to be associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine.
The incident happened the evening February 17th on State Road 10 near the Family Dollar store in Culver. Officers say they viewed the vehicle, driven by 27-year-old Lance Walter, to be speeding. A traffic stop was initiated where Walter was subsequently asked to exit the vehicle.

Plymouth Woman Arrested after Police Pursuit
An officer from the Starke County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Plymouth woman after a pursuit incident Tuesday afternoon.
A caller notified the Sheriff’s Department of an intoxicated driver leaving the area of 900 East and 300 North in Starke County. A detective was in the area and spotted the suspect vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle failed to stop. The detective pursued the vehicle from 150 North and State Road 23 in Starke County to Plymouth and then to Culver. The driver stopped the vehicle after a minor vehicle accident in Marshall County on Tulip Road, just north of 14B road.
