A LaPorte County Councilman has been charged with the Level 6 felony of Residential Entry. Indiana State Police say John Sullivan, 57, of Wanatah “was seen entering a residence that was not his own in the town of Wanatah.”
Thirsty Winamac Teen Arrested For Residential Entry
A Winamac teenager was arrested after entering a home without permission.
On Tuesday, Renata Heinsen told police that she received a text message from Samantha Keys stating that she was reportedly planning to go to Heinsen’s father’s home and take his vehicle. Keys was under Heinsen’s care until recently. When Heinsen went to check on the home, she noticed that someone had been in the house.
Knox Man Arrested after Barging into Ex-Girlfriend’s Residence
A Knox man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly barged into his ex-girlfriend’s home and threatened to take items from the residence.
Police were called to a home on Ruthie Drive after a woman called to report that her ex-boyfriend, Anthony Rose II, barged into her apartment after he she opened the door to him. The victim told police that he wasn’t supposed to be there and while inside, he told her he was going to take the couch. When she told him he couldn’t have the couch, he threatened to take a video recorder. She told Rose that nothing was leaving the apartment and she called police. After the police were called, Rose allegedly starting hitting himself in the face and told her that he would tell police that she hit him.
A Knox Man is Arrested on Charges of Residential Entry, Possession of Methamphetamine
A Starke County police officer arrested a Knox resident on Wednesday, December 23rd, on charges of Residential Entry and Possession of Methamphetamine, both Class D Felonies.
Officers were called to a residence on 250 North after a call was made to the Sheriff’s Department about a possible break-in at the residence. Justin Miller was attempting to leave the residence and got stuck in the snow when police were called to the scene. After further investigation, police found that Miller had allegedly broken into the basement by breaking the basement window and gaining entry into the residence. When police searched Miller’s vehicle, they reportedly found methamphetamine and paraphernalia in his pickup truck. Justin Miller was taken to the Starke County Jail and currently has no bond.
