Library Board Approves Facilities Upgrades
Major repairs will be made to the parking lot of the Schricker Main Library in Knox sometime in the next two weeks, weather permitting. Library officials advise every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience to patrons while the work is being done and stay open as much as possible. A bulldozer, two dump trucks and other equipment will be parked at the library during the project. It’s been in the planning stages for several months but was delayed due to rain.

New Library Director to Begin Duties Today
A new library director will be taking over the chief duties with the Starke County Public Library system.
Rose Frost is coming to the area from the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library where she was the director there beginning in 2011. Prior to her work at the library she was an online instructor with library and information studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Frost also worked as a Public Library Consultant/Grant Coordinator in Utah.
