Not only do they provide clothes and shoes to kids all year long but they also annually provide school supplies to students who cannot afford them. Kid’s Closet Ministry Receives Grants to Help Starke County Youngsters

Kids Closet_01A foundation that focuses on providing for the community has recently received quite a substantial amount of money for their dedication to the well being of the children of Starke County. Kid’s Closet Ministry was not only gifted a $2,000 grant through the Starke United Fund but recently was approved to receive $3,000 thanks to the kind submission of a community member who realized the importance of the foundation. DeMotte State Bank Holding School Supply Drive

DeMotte State Bank in Knox has announced they will be sponsoring a School Supply Drive throughout the month of July, collecting items to donate to schools in the community to help kids fill their backpacks in preparation for the upcoming school year. The bank is looking for any kind of school supplies that might be included on supply lists for school, such as pencils, crayons, markers, paper, scissors and other items.
