The Pulaski County Board of Zoning Appeals wants more time before deciding whether a solar farm proposal can move ahead with its permitting process. After almost two hours of public comment Monday, board members voted to table the Mammoth Solar special exception request, to give them more time to research the project’s potential impact on the environment, ecology, and wildlife, as well as residents’ health.

Winamac Native Elected to State Fair Board
Pulaski and surrounding counties are well represented on the Indiana State Fair Board following the recent election of a Winamac man. Scott Fritz now holds the District 1 seat. Scott Fritz Named to Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee
A Winamac man has been named to a national agriculture committee. Scott Fritz was named by U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to the Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee. Fritz’s committee is charged with working on trade in grains, feed, oilseeds and planting seeds.
