Starke County Community Foundation Plans Over $100,000 in Grant Funding for Ancilla College
Ancilla College is getting a boost with its efforts to provide on-campus student housing. The Starke County Community Foundation has announced plans to provide a total of $105,000 in grant funding from its Hardesty Memorial Endowment Fund over the next five years. Research indicates development of fine motor skills is critical. Motor skills are the child’s ability to do any activity by using a muscle group. Lilly Endowment Community Scholars Announced
Students from North Judson-San Pierre and Winamac Community high schools are recipients of the 2016 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship. Kyle Collins was nominated by the Community Foundation of Pulaski County, while Nicholas Sierzputowski was the Starke County Community Foundation’s nominee. Each of them will receive a four-year, full tuition scholarship to the Indiana College of their choice, as well as a $900 yearly stipend for books and equipment. Continue reading
