An investigation by the Knox Police Department into reports of illegal drug activity culminated in the arrests of three Knox residents yesterday. City officers and members of the Starke County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of East Culver Road, according to Police Chief Harold Smith. They found methamphetamine, syringes and other narcotics and narcotic-related paraphernalia, according to the incident report. Continue reading

A Tuesday afternoon raid on a home in the 200 block of West Bender Street by Knox City Police and the Starke County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of 10 residents on various drug charges.

Knox Police Chief Harold Smith says investigators got several tips about possible drug use at the Tony and Deborah Clemons residence. They face charges of dealing in methamphetamine. Continue reading

A month long drug investigation by the Hamlet Police Department resulted in an arrest. Officers executed a search warrant at 302 W. Davis Street on Friday, according Hamlet Police Chief Frank Lonigro. About an hour beforehand an officer saw several people leave in a vehicle.
