Psi Iota Xi College Scholarship Deadline Approaching
The Knox Chapter of the Psi Iota Xi sorority has announced that they will soon be awarding scholarships to deserving Starke County seniors. Previous recipients may also reapply; the application is simple, and only asks for a brief written paragraph.
With the upcoming deadline of April 4, the sorority is urging all seniors to not miss the opportunity for free money. Tammy Fletcher, president of the sorority’s Knox chapter, said her sorority has been active in the community for more than 27 years, staying busy all year round.
Monday is Young Artists’ Conference Registration Deadline
Monday marks the deadline for registrants of this year’s Starke County Young Artists’ Conference, after the Knox chapter of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority announced they would be extending the deadline from Friday.
Chapter President Tammy Fletcher said this event is a great opportunity for children to learn more about possible careers or opportunities in life. It was previously an event hosted by teachers of area schools, but it eventually came to a halt. Fletcher, however, said it was too great of a program to let it end.
Psi Iota Xi Hosts 19th Annual Young Artists’ Conference
The registration deadline for this year’s Starke County Young Artists’ Conference is approaching, but the Knox chapter of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority has announced they will likely be extending that deadline until Monday, March 10, rather than the current deadline of Friday.
Psi Iota Xi Presents Craft and Vendor Show “Spring It On!”
The Knox Chapter of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority will be sponsoring a spring craft and vendor show at the community building in Washington Township on Saturday, April 6. The event will take place 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. CT, when Tammy Fletcher, chapter president, said the sorority will be coordinating a fun, family-oriented springtime activity that will include traditional vendors of spices, handbags, candles, jewelry, and all kinds of other items.
